V-Stitch Baby Blanket Pattern

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing with you my newest crochet pattern, the V-Stitch Baby Blanket. Crochet blankets are a beautiful way to add a handmade touch to a home during the different seasons. Blankets are a great gift to give to family and friends, too! The V-Stitch Baby Blanket is a beginner-friendly pattern as it’s a one-row repeat pattern.

For the V-Stitch Baby Blanket, I used #4 worsted weight yarn. I used Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn Print in Parcel & Bow, however, you can use any yarn you’d like. I also used a size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook. My favorite crochet hooks to use are the Clover Amour. You will also need a pair of scissors and a tapestry needle. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!

  • To change the width of this blanket, you will need to make a chain in any even number.
  • The 3 skipped chains at the beginning of Row 1 counts as your first double crochet.
  • The chain 3 counts as a double crochet.
