In January, I shared my 2020 crafty goals with you. If you missed it, you can check it out here. I decided that I’m going to do a monthly recap of my crafty goals both to keep me on track, but also share my progress with you. Here is my November crafty goals recap.
Like I mentioned, I wanted to do a little recap of my monthly crafty goals to help keep me on track. I have so much going on, so I thought it would be easier to break down my goals by month so it wouldn’t seem so overwhelming. I also realized I set other crafty goals for myself that I didn’t initially include in my 2020 crafty goals, so I will include them in these monthly recaps instead.
NOVEMBER CRAFTY GOALS RECAP
Design More Crochet Patterns
This month, I designed two new patterns. I mentioned in my last Crochet Chat video that I was in the process of writing up a crochet newborn hat pattern. For this pattern, I used a size I-9 crochet hook and worsted weight yarn. This hat is perfect for welcoming baby home! Also included are 4 different hat sizes.

I also designed the Blossom Stitch Scarf, which is made using the same stitch and yarn used in my Blossom Baby Blanket Pattern. For the Blossom Stitch Scarf, I used a size I-9 crochet hook and Lion Brand Mandala Ombre yarn.

This waffle stitch scarf pattern was created a while ago, but I’m going back and making a video tutorial to go along with some of my written patterns. I feel like this would help people that are more visual learners and can’t always read a pattern.

I also made a video tutorial to go along with my shell stitch scarf. In the video I used different worsted weight yarn than the original pattern, but I feel you can use any worsted weight yarn and still have the scarf turn out beautifully.

I’m having so much fun designing different patterns! I have a few ideas in mind, so be sure to keep an eye out on my YouTube channel for updates!
Make at Least 10 YouTube Videos
Over quarantine, I was able to make a total of 11 YouTube videos, officially completing my goal! Since I’ve gone back to work, I’ve tried staying as consistent as possible with posting at least 1 video a week.
I started a new series called Crochet Chat. This series is about any finished projects, WIPs (works in progress), and anything I’ve bought the past month. I’m having a lot of fun with this series, and I hope you enjoy it as well!
I’m having a lot of fun with my YouTube channel! If you have any video ideas you would like me to make, please leave me a comment below. I’d love to hear from you!

Etsy Collections
In the month of August, I had a sudden desire to stop making collections for my Etsy Shop. I wasn’t making the sales I would have liked, so I lost my zest a little. It’s made me rethink my whole Etsy Shop and what items I want to include in it. This made me go back to the beginning and think “who really is my target audience?”
With that being said, I really want to focus on a common theme with my blankets. In a way, I’m doing a slight overhaul of my Etsy Shop, which means some listings have been taken down and those blankets will be donated instead. The blankets that will remain in my shop fit the overall theme I’m going for, which still leaves a good amount listed in my shop.
Right now, I am in the process of crocheting new baby blankets and different baby related items. Once I have everything I need, I will post this new collection all at once. I’m having a lot of fun with this as it allows me to explore different stitches and patterns and create something beautiful as a result!
Ongoing Crafty Goals Update
Yarn Skeins Used- 23 skeins/7,941 yards
Create More Worry Less- I decided each month to go through my stash and use up any leftover yarns for charity projects. I’m making pet beds to donate to Comfort for Critters. I made 3 pet beds this month. However, I still have some yarn scraps to go through, but with focusing on my new Etsy Collection, this has taken a bit of a backseat for now.
That concludes my November crafty goals recap. Thank you so much for sticking around and seeing my progress. I hope this inspires you to set some crafty goals for yourself as you never know what you’re capable of doing.
