Moss Stitch Baby Blanket

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my newest crochet pattern with you, the Moss Stitch Baby Blanket. This blanket packs a lot of texture to it, which makes it very beautiful. This is a beginner-friendly blanket that only requires a few stitches:

The Moss Stitch Baby Blanket is made using Red Heart Soft Yarn in pink. However, you can use any #4 worsted weight yarn that you’d like. An alternative that I like is Red Heart with Love. You will also need a size K-10.5 crochet hook. I am using my favorite Clover Amour hooks. You will also need a tapestry needle and a pair of scissors. Gather your supplies and let’s begin.

Materials:

Size:

32×31

Notes:

  • To change up the sizing of this blanket, you will need to chain an odd number of chains.
  • The Moss Stitch Baby Blanket is a one row repeat blanket, making it perfect for beginners.
  • You will alternate between a slip stitch and a half double crochet to get the textured look.
