Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my newest crochet pattern, the Iris Throw Blanket. This is a beginner-friendly crochet pattern that looks stunning in this variegated yarn. Crochet blankets are a beautiful way to add a handmade touch to a home throughout the year. Blankets are a great gift to give to family and friends, too!
For the Irish Throw Blanket, I used Premier Puzzle yarn in Seashore. However, you can use whatever bulky weight yarn you’d like. I also used a size K-10.5 (6.5mm) crochet hook. I highly recommend using my favorite crochet hooks, Clover Amour. You will also need a tapestry needle and a pair of scissors. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!
Iris Throw Blanket
Materials:
- (5) skeins of Premier Puzzle yarn in Seashore
- K-10.5 (6.5mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Size:
43×52
Notes:
- You can change up the sizing of this blanket by making a chain in a multiple of 4 plus 3. This means you will make a chain in a multiple of 4. Once satisfied, you will add 3 chains to the very end.
- The double v-stitches will sit on top of one another as you’re working in the chain 1 spaces.
- Whenever you see parenthesis, you will follow the instructions inside the parenthesis into the stitch indicated.
- The chain 1 does not count as a stitch.
