Halloween is coming up soon, so I thought I would get a head start on some Halloween patterns this year. This first pattern is Halloween Mason Jar Cozies. These Halloween Mason Jar Cozies are great because they can be used for Halloween décor, but also can be used as a cute treat jar. You can put your favorite Halloween candy inside or even give it a spooky look with a flickering tea candle. With a few different designs, you can choose what you like best as they work up quickly.
For today’s supplies, you will need worsted weight yarn in white, black, lime green, and orange. I used a combination of Walmart Mainstays Yarn and Red Heart Super Saver. You can check out my reviews of these yarns here and here. I also used a size F-5 Clover Amour Crochet Hook. You can check out a review of my favorite hooks here. Finally, you’ll need some 16oz mason jars and optional tea candles. Gather your supplies and let’s begin making these adorable Halloween Mason Jar Cozies!
Halloween Mason Jar Cozies

- 1 skein each of worsted weight yarn in white, black, lime green, and orange
- F-5 Crochet Hook (I used Clover Amour)
- Tea Candles

- Scissors
NOTES:
- Halloween Mason Jar Cozies are worked in continuous rounds
- Test for fit periodically by inserting mason jar into cozy. You may have to alter the number of stitches and rounds if necessary
- Mason jar cozy is worked the same for all designs. Customize the Halloween Mason Jar Cozies using different facial details and accessories
