Today I will be reviewing Deborah Norville Every Day yarn. This yarn is considered a 4-worsted weight premium 100% acrylic yarn. The yarnsays that it is anti-pilling, which means this yarn will hold up a little better than other brands. I’m not saying other brands aren’t great, but it’s just something to be aware of when purchasing.
For the crocheters out there, the recommended hook size is a size I-9. The recommended needle size for knitters is a size US 8. Each solid skein is 4 oz. while the variegated colors are 3.5 oz. This collection comes in a beautiful array of colors and is one of the softest yarns I have ever used. It is also machine washable.
Deborah Norville Every Day yarn has to be one of my favorite brands out there. As I mentioned above, this yarn is anti-pilling. That means after every consecutive wash, it comes out looking brand new and holds its shape extremely well. To me, it’s even softer and doesn’t fuzz up like other yarn brands might do.
As far as the color consistency goes, normally you would buy enough of the same dye lot to complete your project. While Deborah Norville Every Day has dye lots, I didn’t notice any color differences between dye lots. I’ve worked on different blankets using this yarn before only to discover I needed an extra skein or two to complete it. While the dye lots weren’t the same, even though I tried matching them up, the colors ended up matching perfectly. However, if you’re trying to match up a much older skein to a newer skein, you might see a slight fade or color difference in the dyes over time. If you’re concerned with the dye lots of this yarn brand, I would make sure you have enough of the color(s) you need in order to complete your project.
I absolutely LOVE this yarn!! I love the richness of each solid color, and I love the combinations of the variegated colors. Some of the solid colors pair up well to match some of the variegated colors. I have used this yarn for a variety of different projects, such as hats and baby blankets. I bought a TON of this yarn when it was on sale at Joann Fabrics for $1.99 as this was an awesome deal and had me so giddy! Working with this yarn is an absolute dream as it glides easily on your crochet hook and is very soft to work with. This is one of my go-to yarns. I HIGHLY recommend picking up a few skeins and trying it out yourself. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a soft acrylic yarn, Deborah Norville Every Day yarn for you!

I wish Philippines offered more yarn variety!!
I'm sorry you don't have a big variety of different yarn. That should change! A lot of times I notice people who visit America tend to go yarn shopping and bring back a lot of yarn. Or they have family and friends that send them a lot of yarn to where they live. Thanks for reading!
I am in the look out for more yarn. Thank God for e-commerce now!!
Haha very true!! I heard that yarnsupply.com is a great place for discounted yarn. Happy yarn shopping! :)
