Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing with you my newest crochet pattern, the Crisp Autumn Throw. This is a great beginner-friendly crochet pattern that uses a variation of the sedge stitch. The Crisp Autumn Throw consists of a one row repeat and can be made in a variety of different colors.
The Crisp Autumn Throw is made using Premier Basix Yarn in beautiful fall colors. However, you can use any #4 worsted weight yarn you have in your yarn stash. This blanket is great to use up leftover yarn. I also used a size J-10 crochet hook. My favorite crochet hooks to use are the Clover Amour. You will also need a pair of scissors and a tapestry needle. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!
Crisp Autumn Throw
Materials:
- (4) skeins each of Premier Basix in Orange and Aran Tweed
- J-10 crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Size:
46×53
Notes:
- You can change up the sizing of this blanket by making a multiple of 3+1. This means you will multiply any number by 3 and add 1 chain to the very end.
- To change the length of this blanket, you will make more rows following the color sequence.
- Whenever you see parenthesis, you will follow the instructions inside the parenthesis into the stitch indicated.
- The chain 2 at the beginning of each row counts as a half double crochet.
