Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my newest crochet pattern, the Cozy Cuddles Baby Blanket. This super soft, handmade baby blanket is made using beginner stitches with a cute mini shell border. It is the perfect baby afghan for a newborn baby and would also be an excellent baby shower gift that would be treasured for years to come.
For the Cozy Cuddles Baby Blanket, I used Premier Anti-Pilling DK. However, you can use whatever #3 light-weight yarn you’d like. I also used a size I-9 (5.5mm) crochet hook. I highly recommend using my favorite crochet hooks, Clover Amour. You will also need a tapestry needle and a pair of scissors. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!
Cozy Cuddles Baby Blanket
Materials:
- (3) skeins of Premier Anti-Pilling DK in Cappuccino
- (2) skeins Premier Anti-Pilling DK of Cream
- I-9 (5.5mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Size:
29×31
Notes:
- This blanket is worked in a multiple of 3 plus 2. This means you will multiply any number by 3 to get your desired width. Once satisfied, you will add 2 chains to the very end.
- Chain stitches never count as a stitch.
- Whenever you see parenthesis, you will follow the instructions inside the parenthesis into the stitch indicated.
