Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my newest pattern, the Bobble Scarf. This scarf is beginner-friendly and can be made using some leftover yarn in your stash. Because of the bobbles, there is some pretty texture to it, making it fun and playful. You can make this bobble scarf in a solid color or use a color changing yarn like I did. With the multiple that I will give you, you can change up the sizing of your bobble scarf to be wider or narrower. The possibilities are up to you.
For this bobble scarf, I am using Caron Big Cake in Cake Roll. However, you can use any worsted weight yarn you like (I recommend Red Heart with Love). You will also need a size I-9 crochet hook (I’m using Clover Amour), a tapestry needle, and a pair of scissors. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!
Bobble Scarf Pattern
Materials:
- Caron Big Cake Yarn (or any worsted weight yarn-I recommend Red Heart with Love)
- I-9 Crochet Hook
- Tapestry Needle
- Scissors
Bobble Scarf Size:
6×44
Notes:
- The bobble stitch will always be on the same side of your scarf.
- To make the bobble stitch, you will yarn over and insert your hook into the stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through first 2 loops on hook. Yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through first 2 loops on hook. Next, yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through the first 2 loops on our hook. You should have 4 loops total on your hook. Finally, yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on your hook. This completes the stitch. Your next stitch will be a single crochet.

This completes my Bobble Scarf! I hope you enjoyed this pattern while also learning a new technique. This scarf can be customized to fit your needs, whether you want to make it wider or longer or if you want to change up the colors. You can also add fringe to the ends if you’d like, but I opted not to. The possibilities are really up to you.
