Today I am doing a birthday and Christmas yarn haul. My birthday is right around Christmas, so I thought I would combine both into one massive yarn haul. I hope everyone had a great holiday and that Santa brought them what they wanted. I am beyond blessed with all the gifts I received this year. Without further ado, here is my birthday and Christmas yarn haul!
This first bunch I mainly received on my birthday from my family. I asked for a lot of Bernat Softee Baby yarn as it’s one of my favorite yarn brands as well as my main yarn I use for my Etsy listings. The colors I received were white, pink, and mint. For Christmas, I received Loops & Threads Snuggly Wuggly, another staple in my crochet business. This one is in soft gray.
Next, I received all of this yarn from my lovely fiancé. Again, I asked for a lot of Bernat Softee Baby yarn for my business in the colors white and mint. I also received some light blue, which will be for my upcoming collection. I have made a variety of items out of this yarn with this blanket being the most popular.
Finally, this last bunch I bought as an early birthday present to myself. Michaels had Caron Cakes on sale for $5, so I knew I had to stock up on a few more colors. The colors I chose were Rainbow Sprinkles, Cherry Chip, and Funfetti. I’m not sure what to make with this yarn yet, but I’m sure I’ll find something. If you are interested, check out my free crochet pattern for a baby blanket I made using this yarn. I also found the shirt on Amazon after seeing Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me talk about it. It says, “All I want for Christmas is more yarn.” It’s a great addition to my wardrobe.
Overall, I am very pleased with all this new yarn. My family knows me so well!
